Distilled within the historic Hensol Castle at the heart of the Vale Resort, our new ready to drink cans make it easier than ever to enjoy premium spirits while on the move.
Whether you’re commuting, travelling across Wales train lines, or exploring South Wales, you can now enjoy a perfectly balanced gin and tonic or rum and cola made with spirits distilled right here at our distillery.
Partnering with Wales Train Services
We’re excited to be partnering with Transport for Wales to bring our new ready-to-drink cans to passengers across the rail network.
As part of the first phase of the launch, our spiced rum and cola will be available onboard selected trains. This means thousands of passengers travelling on Wales train lines each week can enjoy a locally crafted drink during their journey.
For us, this partnership is about more than convenience. It’s an opportunity to showcase Welsh distilling and share the spirits we create at Hensol Castle with more people than ever before. Whether you’re heading home after work, travelling to a major event, or enjoying a weekend getaway, you can now relax with a premium rum and cola or refreshing gin and tonic on your journey.
Ready to Drink Cocktails
The popularity of ready-to-drink cocktails has grown rapidly in recent years, and we wanted to create a range that reflects the same quality and character as the spirits we distill at Hensol Castle.
Our launch range of ready to drink cans includes two timeless classics:
Spiced Rum and Cola – our take on the classic rum and mixer, made with our spiced rum distilled on site at Hensol Castle.
Welsh Dry Gin and Tonic – a crisp and refreshing gin and tonic crafted using our signature Welsh dry gin.
Each drink has been carefully developed by our team to ensure the perfect balance of flavour. By using spirits produced at our distillery, we’ve been able to maintain the quality people expect from Hensol Castle Distillery, while offering the convenience of a ready to drink can.
The response to the launch has already been incredibly encouraging, with more than two-thirds of the first production run secured ahead of the wider public release.
